My GGG GM was born Nancy Jeter. She first married Jesse Hardy in his later years in the early 1820s and they had Whitmel Hardy. Jesse died soon thereafter and Nancy remarried Shadrack Gaither in 1827. I have traced her to her death in 1881 and burial at Lineville, Ala in a grave next to Whitmel.
